About us
Industrial hard chrome in Franklin Park since 1957. Direct to base metal for wear life, restoration, and irregular geometry.
The process
The work started by rejecting decorative chrome over copper and nickel as the model for industrial parts. The shop plates directly to base metal for uniform coverage into recesses and odd shapes.
The shop plates new cutting tools, gears, and molds that need wear life, and restores worn or mismatched parts. Heat reflectivity, inherent lubrication under load, and a dense, void-free surface are the practical reasons engineers specify it.
